Once you generate a blanket with your squares and selected colors, is there a way to determine how many yards you need of each color? To enter the weight of yarn and size of skein ?

No, not in the current implementation. I think that’s a dimension further than I’d like to go with this tool, but I won’t rule it out. I already need to do more to expose the existing details of the generated pattern, so perhaps once that’s done, it’ll be clearer how I could add additional layers of complexity without muddying things up.
